The First People were witness to an extended Ice Age and then the warming period. They have oral stories of the climate changing and the sea rising. The First People walked across the area which is now Port Phillip Bay. These flood stories are common and also the stories of the sea rising. This reader can be used to discuss weather and climate changes.
