For three months undercover investigators with the Human Society of the United States took video footage at Georgia Regents University's animal research lab in Augusta, Georgia. While there they met Shy Guy, a mixed-breed dog who had been sold to GRU by an animal dealer. Shy Guy and other dogs in GRU's lab were being used in dental implant experiments.
