This book contains a set of practical lessons, ideas and worksheets to explore the strand of Practical Science Series: Working Scientifically for 8-10 Year Olds. Specific learning activities focus on the properties of magnets, magnetic directions, pendulums and bridge construction.
A range of science skills will be developed through these activities including graphing, timing, drawing and labelling diagrams, designing tests, designing data tables, interpreting and reporting on results, assessing test validity, and following written instructions.
