This book contains a set of practical lessons, ideas and worksheets to explore the strand of Energy and Change. Specific learning activities focus on simple machines, household tools, pulleys, the sun’s heat, energy at home, energy transfer and energy saving tips. A range of science skills will be developed through these activities including drawing and labelling diagrams, gathering, interpreting and presenting data, conducting surveys, and making observations. Educational website references have been included where possible. All activities are outcome linked to the science strands of state curriculum documents.
