What's more amazing than that mini-fact is the fact that 60 million cars come off the assembly line each and every year. These cars come from carmakers located all around the world. Learn about the many companies that produce today's cars, from the giant Japanese brands Toyota, Honda and Nissan to American mainstays General Motors and Ford and everything in between. The sports cars from Italy and the engineered luxury of the German brands...it's all here in Carmakers from Around the Globe. Each book in The World of Automobiles series takes a close-up look at the most interesting aspects of the cars we love. Who makes them, how we love to trick them out, the craziest cars of them all, and trucks too...it's all here. So jump in, get behind the wheel and put the pedal to the floor!
