Sally Sutton is the author of a number of children’s books, Birkenhead author Sally Sutton’s Roadworks, illustrated by Brian Lovelock, has been most successful.

Auckland author/illustrator Dave Gunson has completed a number of titles for Scholastic,
including Wildlife Stuff. More recently he has worked on Diary of a Pukeko, Lucy Davey’s
Pandora’s Potato Romp, Santa and the Reindeer
by Maria Farrer, and the charming Will and Woof
by Tanya Warren. In addition, he has illustrated two of the popular Kiwi Corkers series.
Dave Gunson’s Mr Muggs the Library Cat was the Read-Aloud title for NZ’s Biggest Storytime as
part of LIANZA Library Week 2010.
