Health For Years 5-6: Part 1 is part of the Australian Health And Physical Education Series which comprises ten books altogether. This book has been written to help students to become health literate.

The activity sheets have been designed so that students will develop their understanding of important issues which affect children of this age, such as: puberty, drug taking, the changing nature of friendships, managing their emotions and how health information is presented to the public. Well-supported by relevant illustrations, the activity pages in Health for Years 5-6: Part 1 can be completed independently or with teacher-assistance.
